What was this movie called with Alicia Silverstone?
My mom saw this movie yesterday but can't remember the name.
She says she remebers two characters: Rose and Hal, I think.
Alicia Silverstone plays Rose's daughter and she doesn't think this movie is so old.
It also has something to do with Rose getting a divorce because her husband left her for someone else, I think.

If you buy raw walnuts, toast them by spreading them on a baking sheet. Place them in a 350 Fahrenheit (176 Celsius) oven for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the nuts are lightly browned and fragrant. Stir the nuts once or twice as they toast.

Start to finish: 2 1/2 hours (20 minutes active)
Servings: 12
For the brownies:
3/4 cup (175 milliliters) whole-wheat pastry flour
3/4 cup (175 milliliters) brown rice flour
1/2 cup (120 ml) unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups (350 ml) maple sugar
3/4 (175 ml) cup soy/rice milk blend (or any nondairy milk)

Stuck Shmuck! :c) I’m totally cool with being at level 2.5. Maybe I do need to read this because I am so resistant to the uber-healthy vein of veganism. It is about compassion for me so it is hard to think in terms of health. Perhaps I can “flirt” with healthier stuff but to be completely without anything processed blows my little mind. :c)
Alicia is great! I read this book at the end of December and it helped me to push past the vegetarian to vegan line. It is three weeks later and I’m not missing the cheese/dairy like I thought I would. I have a whole new relationship with food and am more mindful about what I’m eating. I recommend this book all the time.
