And the buzz got his MCL by Matthew Campbell Laurenza baubles, bangles and big shiny things on TV shows “The Hills,” “Ugly Betty,” “Gossip Girl” and “Lipstick Jungle.”
“Fashionable bright and colorful just didn’t exist in real fine jewelry,” said Laurenza from Hong Kong where he was busily launching a store (he already has one in Singapore). “My designs are unique and colorful and at an affordable price. My customers call it ‘happy jewelry.’”
Laurenza will bring the happy to Neiman Marcus Boca Raton Friday, Feb. 19th for a personal appearance and trunk show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
His Crayola-hued cocktail rings encrusted with pave stones have become the must-have-glossies for Rihanna, Blake Lively, Jessica Lange, Carrie Underwood, Jodie Kidd and The Ting Tings. A-list stylists were immediately drawn to the line from the moment it was launched in 2007.
