this movie was filmed back in 1952 Ga swamps starring Jean Peters,Walter Brennan. Father,and daughter escapes to the swamps after being accused of murder,and was found by a young boy whose dog jumped from the boat to chase a deer.The young went into the swamps looking for his dog,and found the father,and daughter.
Unfortunately, it never made it to VHS or DVD. Maybe someday. The cable tv station AMC has it listed on the website, which means it is in their rotation. You might try sending them an email and see if they will tell you when it is next scheduled.

Full house
Among the Christmas gifts under the tree a few weeks ago, the usual presents were there. You know — socks, underwear, pajamas, new slippers, but a different gift stirred my curiosity.
When I undid the mystery present’s colorful wrappings, I was both surprised and pleased to find that the present was a DVD entitled “Full House.” I’d received the film versions of five marvelous short stories by William Sydney Porter — aka, O. Henry — all on one DVD.
O. Henry knew what hard times were all about as he scuffled to make a living in the New York City of the early 20th century.
The great actor Charles Laughton, himself one of a kind, was featured in “The Cop and the Anthem.” Jeanne Crain and Farley Granger took on the bittersweet “The Gift of the Magi.” Ann Baxter with Jean Peters played haunting roles in “The Last Leaf.” In addition, the DVD contained “The Ransom of Red Chief” and “Clarion Call,” quite a quintet.
That gift took me all the way back to the cold and snowy sidewalks of old New York, where so many of O. Henry’s stories were set.

Valentines is just around the corner, so I thought I had better make a start at making some cards for this occasion. I am really loving this set from Stamping Up entitled Always and I have fallen into the pink, black and white pit at the moment......all my cards seem to be coming out this colour LOL....but I like it. This also happens to be a favourite layout of mine too at the moment so expect to see lots of more cards looking like this one. I am a working mum of two boys. I was born and raised on the tiny island of St Helena in the South Atlantic Ocean - probably made famous as the place of exile for Napoleon Bonaparte. I am most definitely a papercraft addict - I love all papers, in any shape or form and enjoy every aspect of card making. I also have a passion for cooking and baking homemade cakes, biscuits, cookies and desserts so I will throw in the odd tried and tested recipe and I am working in a job that I really love and I get to spend my day with the most wonderful people. I live with three truely gorgeous blokes - my husband of 15 years and two sons, aged 14 and 5 years.
