I don't care for her or think she is particularly attractive (and evidently, judging from the boxoffice for her recent flop, Basic Instinct II, neither do many people). Yes, she is fit, but she is nearly as old as I am and getting a little, um, ropey looking.
That said, she generally plays bitches (sometimes bitches in heat, sometime rabid bitches, sometimes competant bitches, sometimes bitches in peril ... get the idea?) but she has a certain limited range to portray them as subtly different characters.
Bottom line, she is a moderately competant actress who has been capitalizing on a (then) shocking beaver-shot for close to 20 years. Unless she develops some other talents, her career may be over. Until they make "Desperately Homicidal Housewives - The TV Series".
